A compact in-line washing machine of hygienic design. The machine has main washing and rinsing zones and a drying (blow-off) section. It washes crates out quickly and effectively. Excellent washing results mean the machines suit a wide range of places. Safety and economy are guaranteed. The unit is divided into main washing and rinsing zones plus a blow-off zone. In the main washing zone the crates are washed with water at a constant temperature, kept there by the temperature control system in the tank. Water from the washing zone is filtered and returned to the tank. In the rinsing zone the crates are rinsed with clean water, and the run-off is filtered and returned to the main tank. This system achieves minimum consumption of water, electricity and chemicals, and gives a good washing result too. In the blow-off zone a high power air centrifuge, connected to specially designed air nozzles, blows the water droplets off the crates with cold air. The nozzles in the blow-off zone are set so that no splashing occurs. The main air knives are adjustable and the upper air knives adjust automatically to the optimum height above the crates. Using a high air flow guarantees the maximum degree of dryness. The water blown off is collected and returned to the main water tank. To make servicing and washing out the machine easy, the drying section has a long lockable protective cover. Servicing and washing out the unit is easy thanks to the removable side covers.
