Processing line FPM-470

The FPM-470 can process many kinds of fish, such as blue whiting, herring, mackerel, sardines and the like. With the filleting unit switched off, the machine only cuts off the heads, guts the fish and cuts off the tails. If the filleting unit is switched on, butterfly or single fillets are produced. A very important feature of the FPM-470 is a special module that moves fish of different sizes into the optimum position for cutting off the head. With this unit the head is cut off with minimum losses, which improves yields considerably — by as much as 18%. The FPM-470 is made entirely of stainless steel and other materials certified for the food industry, and meets all European Community safety requirements.
