The hygiene lock disinfects the soles of boots on the way into (or out of) the production hall, depending on how the unit is set. Disinfectant liquid mixed with water is fed into the basin. The first section is lower, so that the boot sinks to the bottom; then, walking on the higher grating, the soles touch only the disinfectant. The hand disinfection station with the barrier is locked to anyone coming in. It unlocks only once the hands have been disinfected by putting them into the openings provided, where disinfectant is sprayed onto them. The turnstile is then unlocked and passage is allowed. Only one person can move through the turnstile at a time; everyone following also has to disinfect their hands to unlock it. The status is shown by lamps: free — green / occupied — red.
